About This Blog
The name Cold Cape, translated to Cabo Frio, is a tribute to a piece of paradise located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which I'm absolutely crazy about. Have you ever closed your eyes, thought of a place, and felt this immediate sense of peace, joy, and problem-free spirit just taking over every sense of your being? Now you’re getting the picture. That’s what Cabo Frio does for me. The beaches are simply out of this world! The ocean is crystal clear with a perfect tone of green surrounded by white sand and incredible dunes that take our breath away. The waves, the rocks, the shells, the fabulous marine life we can enjoy by snorkeling or scuba diving, the kiosks serving ice cold drinks and fresh fish, the exciting night life, the shops, the people, the historic scenery… Everything is just an invitation to celebrate life to the fullest and indulge ourselves in this paradisiacal exotic place. So if you were curious about why this blog is called Cold Cape, there you have it. It’s a synonym of good memories, relaxation, happiness, and lots of fun. By the way... If you love the beach like I do and would like to share some of your pictures with me, don’t be shy. I will be glad to post some of them here. ♥
